Canvas Institute Nigeria expands the Canvas mission through youth empowerment, education, partnership, and cultural connection. This international work shows how the Canvas model can support young people beyond Staten Island while building bridges between community, culture, and leadership.
The story so far
Three summits at Aso Rock Congress Hall.
Canvas Institute Nigeria has hosted three Youth Empowerment Summits at Aso Rock Congress Hall during the Diaspora Celebration hosted by NiDCOM and Canvas Institute. Together, these summits have welcomed more than 500 youth and created space for learning, leadership, inspiration, and connection.
As part of the summit impact, Canvas distributed 10 tablets at the 2026 summit and 8 laptops in 2025 — putting technology directly into the hands of young people to support access to education and opportunity.
Canvas Institute Nigeria is open to partnerships and collaborations with schools, government agencies, diaspora organizations, nonprofits, sponsors, and community leaders who want to invest in youth development.
