Volunteer

Volunteer with Canvas.

Volunteers help Canvas Institute bring programs, events, youth opportunities, and community support to life. Whether you are a student, professional, artist, parent, educator, or community member, there is a place for you to contribute.

Why volunteer

Real roles, real impact.

Volunteers are part of every Canvas moment — from welcoming 1,400 people to the St. George Theatre, to supporting a small-group workshop in a school library. Students can earn service hours; professionals can share skills; everyone builds community.

The process

  1. 1Submit the volunteer interest form.
  2. 2A Canvas team member follows up to talk through fit and timing.
  3. 3Complete a short onboarding (and any school-site requirements).
  4. 4Get matched to your first opportunity.
